♥ Best Boyfriend ♥

I just wanna share something I wrote last  May 21, 2011, Saturday, at 5:34am...

Hello my Prince.

I hope you are well.

I am really excited to meet you. I always wonder what you will look like. Alam mo ba na kahit hindi pa kita nakikilala, I am already in love with you. ♥

4 years and I am happily waiting for you. I always have a conversation with Jesus about sayo.  Since waiting is hard, I use my time knowing and serving Jesus. I want na bago kita makilala, I already have a deep relationship with Him. I want to love Jesus more. Para pag dumating ka na sa life ko, yung love na nilagay ni Jesus sa heart ko, yung magrereflect sayo. I can love you because I love Jesus. Jesus would always be my first and true love and that I would continue to love and serve Him even na we’re together. I also dream na second love mo ako kasi like me, si Jesus din yung first love mo.

Lord God knows what is best for me, kaya pag nagkakilala na tayo, ikaw yung best boyfriend kasi God given ka. ♥

In my years of waiting, I seek and love God. God is my priority. Indeed God is faithful. He brought me to my future husband last December 09, 2012. I am so blessed and happy that I prayed and waited for my future husband. But more happy that I used my time loving God first.

Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Tom & AM's Wedding Cake

Tom and AM are my church mates who decided to tie the knot last December 7, 2012. We are really happy seeing them in one of the happiest day of their lives.

Their wedding cake was made by me(*blush*). It was my first wedding cake and my first time to make a fondant cake by myself. Thank you very much AM for trusting me with this one. :D

Here are some of the photos of my creation.

All I Want For Christmas

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Why? Because of the colourful parols and Christmas trees, because every Filipino is in happy mode, and because we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

One of the spirit of Christmas is giving, I think because God showed the perfect example of it. When He gave His one and only Son to be the sacrificial lamb for our sin. And also, by giving His unconditional love for us.

Lori of Here You'll Find Me tag me in her post: all I want for Christmas. And now, it is my turn to list down the 6 things I want to receive this Christmas. :-)

1. Books

  • The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer
  • What's so Amazing About Grace by Philip Yancy
  • Failing Forward by John Maxwell
  • Erasing Hell by Francis Chan
  • Grace by Max Lucado
  • For Women Only by Shaunti Feldhahn

2. Shoes from Feet for a Queen

Tokyo DisneySea

Map of Disney Sea

This was my first trip to Disney Resort. And I am so blessed I got this for free. :-) How? Back in 2008, I had a training in Japan. And when we had dinner with the President and owner of the company, I told him this:

Meeka: Disneyland ni ikitai. (I want to go to Disneyland)

Then after a few days, He told me that he will treat me and the other girls in the office to Disney Sea. (*super big smile and super thank you Kato Sacho*)

So on July 05, 2008, my officemates and I went to Disney Sea. I choose Disney Sea because my cousin who resides in Japan told me that she will treat me to Disney Land the next day (July 06) ^_^

We met at Kawagoe Station at around 6am.

We travel by train for 2 hrs. going to Disney Resort.

Entrance of Disney Sea

Oh, even if it was already 4 years ago, I still can feel the trill I had when I entered this theme park.

Mediterranean Harbour

Disney Sea doesn't have a castle in the middle of the park instead you will see a volcano.

Main Street
Our first ride: Tower Of Terror
Tower of Terror is a high-speed, free fall ride inside an elevator. But first, you will enter a hunted hotel with hologram ghost and "hotel artefacts". Then you will enter an elevator, a bit drama in some floors and on the top floor, the window will open showing you the amazing view of the theme park  then drop fast in the darkness.

...after the ride

Next ride was Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull.

Then we ate our lunch in Miguel's El Dorado Cantina, a Mexican theme restaurant.

My lunch: Seafood Paella
After we had our lunch, we watched the show Mystic Rhythms. Then went to Mermaid Lagoon.

Mai-Chan and me with King Triton
Off to Mysterious Island to experience another roller coaster ride called Journey to the Center of the Earth.

This is where the roller coaster is.. in the volcano

with my Japanese friends.. :-)
Into Arabian Coast, where I spotted Mickey-Chan (this is how the Japanese calls Mickey Mouse) and have a picture taken with him.

with Mickey-chan
We also went to Port Discovery, where we had Storm Rider, a 4D ride. We walked to American Waterfront for some picture taking. Then back to Mediterranean Harbor for dinner.

After dinner, we waited for the show called Fantamistic.  This show was held in the lake with the volcano on the backdrop. We were awed with the lights and effects of the show and of course by the disney character in it.

Mysterious Island at night
Mediterranean Harbor (you will see people were waiting for Fantamistic)

A trip to DisneySea wouldn't be complete without buying a souvenir. So we went to the Mediterranean Harbor souvenir shops.

farewell Disney Sea, till we meet again!

The time I went to Japan was the 25th anniversary year of the Disney Resort in Japan. I am really glad I was there to see it.

Unforgettable Coron (Sangat Loop)

It's our third day in Coron (view our 1st day here, and 2nd day here). But before we have our island hopping, we need first to transfer to Darayonan Lodge for our last night accommodation. Darayonan Lodge is a 10 mins. drive(by a tricycle) from Coron Reef Pension House.

We were in the tricycle when the driver asked:

Manong triclycle driver: Ma'am, gusto nyo ng arroz caldo? Libre lang, birthday kasi ni Mayor.
Us: Cge Kuya.
Manong triclycle driver (stop the tricycle in front of Mayor's house): Bigyan nyo ng lugaw yung mga bisita natin.
Us: Salamat po. Happy Birthday Mayor..!!!

We felt we're part of Coron town because the people there were very hospitable to their guest. And the arroz caldo taste really good.

enjoying the arroz caldo

We checked-in in Darayonan, and place our luggages in our room, then we headed to the port for our island hopping. And said goodbye to Zeline because she needs to go back to Manila that day.

tricycle in coron is big. 8 people can fit in it not including the driver :o

Our tour for the day is called, Sangat Island Coral Garden and Shipwreck. We got our tour from Coron Galeri for only 750php(lunch included). It's around 9am when we sailed off to Sangat Island. It would take an hour and a half going there. The views are very relaxing that you won't get bored.

First Destination: Sangat Coral Galden

It was hard to snorkel in this coral garden because the current is really strong. But it has beautiful corals and fishes.

Second Destination: Sangat Hot Spring

This is my favorite. To reach the hot spring, you must swim or walk in a tunnel of mangrove. It's a bit scary because the mangrove is known for snakes and other scary animals but our guide lead the way to make sure we're safe. The Sangat Hot Spring is located on the edge of the island. It is a small pool made of rock. If it's high tide, the sea water overflow to the pool of hot water which makes the water luke warm.

I said it is my favorite because the place is very peaceful and very relaxing. You'll feel your secluded from the world. I could stay there for hours but my friends doesn't like the place very much so we went on to our tour.

Third Destination: Sangat Beach

Time for lunch, so we went to the beach near the shipwreck.

For our lunch we had crabs, grilled tuna, seaweed salad, grilled chicken and rice. And as I said in my previous post, the food was cooked in the boat, which makes it fresh and super yummy.

After we ate our lunch, Joy, Jhoanna and I went to the side of the beach for photo shoot. As I walked in a knee high water, I felt pain in my right leg. In a matter of seconds the pain worsen.

Me(walking towards the shore): aray.. aray.. aray.. (then I look at my leg, I saw a violet-brownish thing, which I thought was a leech)

Me: ARAY... ARAY.. KUYA ARAY..!!! ARAY.. KUYA ARAY!!!
friend and boatmen/guide: (just looking at me with a puzzled look)
Me: ARAY... ARAY.. KUYA ARAY..!!! ARAY.. KUYA ARAY!!!
friend and boatmen/guide: (still looking at me with a puzzled look)
Me: ARAY... ARAY.. KUYA ARAY..!!! ARAY.. KUUUUUYYYYAAAAAYAAAAA ARAAAAAYYYYY!!! (screaming so loud)

Then, our guide runs toward me carrying a bottle of vinegar. Saying I was sting by a jelly fish, and vinegar is the first aid for it.

After the tentacles was removed

Fourth Destination: Gun Boat Ship Wreck

Though my leg still hurts so much, I would never be left out of fun specially if it's to-see tourist attraction. (kaya tiisin ang sakit!)

Gunboat
We snorkel above the shipwreck and saw that the ship was deteriorated already(of course!haha..) and there were some corals and sea plants in it. You can also see lots of fishes in the area.

Fifth Destination: Decalve Reef

Our last destination was another coral garden.

Decalve Reef has a shallow water that even in the boat you can see the corals and fishes already.

The guide who rescued me from the jellyfish sting helps me to navigate in the garden by pulling me while I am holding the round floater. I told him I want to see Nemo and indeed we found a family of Nemo(so happy!).

mommy, daddy and baby nemo :D

We headed back to Coron town. We arrived around 4pm which gave us enough time to buy pasalubong.

We rented a tricycle for only 210php (35php per person). We went first to Coron Harvest. It was famous for its cashew product like sun-dried cashew, roasted cashew, etc.

with the Aling Lita Escarda, owner of Coron Harvest

Next we went to dried fish stores to buy dried danggit. Then to Coron Souvenir and Gift Shop. This souvenir shop sells keychain, t-shirt, ref magnet and other Coron products. It was a bit pricey here, so we went to Coron Market to buy t-shirts and key chains.

Coron Souvenir and Gift Shop

When we were sure we already bought enough pasalubong for our family and friends, we walked back to Darayonan and call it a day.
